Company of the Month by Hohenstein Institute The crescent awareness on products´ safety terms for outfits, has taken since early to certify its fabrics in conformity with humans and ecological requirements of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, when become itself on the first textile factory in Brazil to receive STeP certification from OEKO-TEX®, added to others certifications as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and other sustainable actions, resulted on its recognition by Germany´s Hohenstein Institute, as the company of the month in 2014.
The sustainable development is one of primordial objectives of Covolan Têxtil®. It includes, first of all, the constant improving of quality and productivity, and then, the reduction of natural resources consumes and the minimization of residuals´ generation.
All the procedure phasis, from the thread preparation to finished fabric, are performed by the own company and all the weaving processes, of dyeing and textile finishing are subjected to a quality and environmental management system extremely efficient.
